Features include selectable magnetic triple-track reading, bi-directional swiping, ability to read magnetically encoded driver's licenses, ABA, ANSI, ISO, AAMVA, CADMV compatible, one-swipe setup card and a head life twice the industry standard. 2 year warranty. The MX5 can be easily upgraded to support IC CHIP Smart Card with the MX5 add-on. No Tools needed, just remove the LED cover, connect the cable to the snap on MX5 module of your current MX5 magnetic card reader. Flash your application into the MX5 and you are ready to read/writer IC Chip Smart Cards and read magnetic cards. USB cables are also avail in 2ft, 6 ft or 15ft length.
The Flash upgradeable firmware option of the MX5 makes it easy to customize your MX5 reader to any applications. NO NEED to Stock more then one Reader. The MX5 all in One Reader does it all… when selecting a Magnetic Reader, insist on the MX5.
